Country music is alive at the popular reality TV, America’s Got Talent 2022! Now on it’s Season 17, a group of three young women country singers auditioned. They called their group Chapel Hart and walked confidently on stage for an amazing audition. Singing their original song “You Can Have Him, Jolene”, a tribute to their favorite country music superstar, Dolly Parton. They literally own the stage! Judges, Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel, host Terry Crews, and the live audience were stunned! Watch how Chapel Hart’s audition unfolded below:
Simon Cowell, known for his notoriously tough critic was amazed and said: “Trust me, I needed you today,” he said. “That was fantastic. I love you.” Sofia said the performance “was perfect.” “You guys look like you’ve been doing this for a long time, and I’m so proud of you guys.”
One of the members during the interview said: “We’ve been trying to break into Nashville for the last couple of years, but it’s been kind of hard. Country music doesn’t always look like us.” But now, they just made history for themselves. They had the host and the 4 judges pressing the golden buzzer simultaneously. All the the best Chapel Hart!
